Here at Senior Independence we pride ourselves in developing programs and services that meet the needs of older adults who wish to age safely and comfortably in the place they call home. Additionally, we recognize the contributions of families as dedicated loving caregivers who need support, encouragement and help in caring for their loved ones.

The Senior Independence mission is to extend and enhance the independence and well being of older adults and build the capacity of family members, communities and organizations to care for them at home.

Senior Independence is an affordable, comprehensive program that gives older adults the help they require and the confidence they need to stay at home living the life they choose. A wholly owned subsidiary of Ohio Presbyterian Retirement Services, Senior Independence is one of Ohio’s premier providers of home and community based services recognized for quality, innovation and a positive work environment. A menu of options allows seniors to select as much or as little assistance as they need.

Since 1980, Senior Independence has grown from a few clients to serving more than 84,000 seniors throughout Ohio, Pennsylvania and Virginia. We here at Senior Independence feel blessed that so many older adults and their families have come to trust us in delivering services in the place they call home. We have two words that describe our staff and our clients’ relationship – kindness and trust.
